RE Appointment was today!!!!!!!
Update on RE appt today...It went AMAZING!!! There were a few hiccups along the way the blood pressure cuff squeezed my arm off....my arm/hand LITERALLY was tingly for like 10 mins AFTER it was done bahahah! Then the dr was running about 45mins behind...I was a little frustrated but he TOTALLY made up for it because he was SO nice. So we went back to his office and discussed our options. I DID tell him about the Femara and he wasn't mad or anything!!! All he said was "wow you really know about your PCOS huh" I was like yup lmao! He even wants to set up some type of seminar for dr's to attend about PCOS and how to treat/help patients get pregnant since I guess I "reminded" him that dr's are so uninformed about it! He said make sure and call him in 2 weeks and remind him about it as well as give him an update. I told him that I was going to start a diet and we would like to wait until June 1st to start "trying" again (since that is when DH's insurance kicks in) but in the mean time I was not going to prevent it either, he was totally ok with that and said hopefully with this diet I won't even need him. He totally 100% approves of my diet since it's so similar to South Beach (which he HIGHLY recommends to his PCOS patients!). He said if by June (or sooner if I give up on the diet etc) then call and set up appt for baseline u/s on CD 3 (after using provera if needed) and then we will try 7.5-10mg of Femara monitored (using u/s and trigger) and if that fails we will try femara AND Gonal-F or Follistim (whichever is cheaper at the time) and go from there. He did say while weight loss "may" help it is not an answer for all of us. So he said basically either way whenever I am ready he is ready to start helping us!!! It was so great to meet such a caring dr!!!! Whew sorry that was so long LOL ♥ you all and thanks for the support!
